CalculQuébec is me: Ayoub Hrizi. I created calculqc.com to make Quebec taxes and personal finance simple and accessible to everyone.
Who I am
I'm Ayoub Hrizi, a CNC machinist by trade, passionate about everything numbers: the economy, finance and market news. I built CalculQuébec (also known as CalculQC) so Quebecers can check a pay stub, a tax estimate or a housing cost in seconds, for free.
The method
Every calculator on calculqc.com is built from the official 2026 parameters: Revenu Québec and CRA tax brackets, CMHC insurance premiums, and the welcome tax (land transfer duties) including Montreal's scale. Parameters are reviewed every year, and each page states its assumptions and limits. Since October 2026, verified tools also display a dated verification line citing their official sources.
The model
CalculQuébec is free and will stay free. The site is funded by discreet advertising and clearly disclosed affiliate links. Editorial independence is non-negotiable: no advertiser influences the calculations or the content.
Important
Results are estimates for information only, not personalized financial advice. For an important decision — mortgage, taxes, investments — validate with a licensed professional.
